PL. 01Introduction

I sold HVAC equipment. Then I built AskMarcel, an app for this trade. Today I build tools for your teams.

AI consulting · Web & mobile apps · Technical leadership

I work with HVAC companies and building distributors on AI projects and business applications: pick a useful first use case, ship an initial version, or unblock a stalled project. From the first “is this possible?” to something your teams can use.

AskMarcel: from field need to app in daily use.

I built AskMarcel to support HVAC professionals with technical questions and troubleshooting. I develop the product and evolve it from what users need on the ground.

For your projects, I start with the same question: what do your teams need to do their job?

  1. 01 — The problem

A unit down, a fault code, little time.

The technician is in front of the equipment. The answer exists—somewhere in a manual or catalogue.

  2. 02 — What they do

    They choose “Troubleshoot a unit”.

AskMarcel guides them step by step, with checks and measurements before any action.

  3. 03 — What they get

Likely causes and a job summary.

At the end, they leave with a report ready to share.

PL. 03Your projects

What’s sitting on your desk?

Finding technical information, preparing a quote, guiding a service call—we start from what your teams do every day.

  1. Sheet 01 / 03Ref. CONSEIL-IA
    01

“We want to use AI. But for what, in our business?”

We start from your tasks, documents, and tools. I help you pick a first use case, check feasibility, and test it with your team.

    At the end

You leave with a priority use case, its constraints, and results from a first test.

    • AI consulting
    • Needs definition
    • Feasibility test

    Example use

Surface the right information in your product catalogues and manuals.

  2. Sheet 02 / 03Ref. APP-METIER
    02

“We have a tool idea. We need to make it real.”

An app for your teams, a service for your customers, a product to launch—I help you define the first version and build it.

    At the end

You get a first version focused on essentials, ready to test with future users.

    • First version
    • Business apps
    • Web & mobile

    Example use

An app so your sales reps can prepare a quote from the job site.

  3. Sheet 03 / 03Ref. PILOTAGE
    03

“The project exists. We need someone to move it forward.”

I identify what’s blocking progress, clarify next steps, and coordinate delivery with your teams and vendors. I can also take on part of the development.

    At the end

You get a recovery plan, clear priorities, and tracking for upcoming deliveries.

    • Project lead
    • Fractional technical direction

    Example use

Restart a stalled app project and steer the vendor through launch.

Before building apps, I worked at CIAT, France Air, and Daikin.

I held sales roles at HVAC manufacturers, then was sales lead for solar in Phuket.

That commercial HVAC background helps me understand what a tool must answer—and what information its users need.

Field note

At Daikin, an installer calls from a job site. His heat pump shows a fault code, and the answer is in a manual he doesn’t have with him. I find it and send him the page. That day I understood the problem wasn’t the information—it was accessing it at the right moment.

PL. 05Getting started

Show me how you work today.

You don’t need a full specification. A file, a sample task, or a few lines are enough to start.

  • Excel file
  • Email thread
  • Screenshot
  • Existing app
  • A few notes

Together we clarify:

  1. 01The problem to solve
  2. 02Who is involved
  3. 03Constraints to respect

If an engagement makes sense, I propose:
